Six years ago today, Computava began trading as a business - and what an amazing journey it has been up to now! 📋

We first moved into our office at Environment House, and we began to trade on this very day back in February 2020. Whilst our business has not been office-based since the end of March 2021, our services and solutions have remained available with our home and business visits - as well as our virtual and remoting options. Since then, we have continued to expand further into a variety of fields within the IT sector and beyond - and with the launch of Computava Store on the way, we're incredibly proud of everything achieved to date. 🎉

Since the post from exactly one year ago today, we have focused on the big announcement we shared shortly afterwards - and the outcome is that Computava Store will be launching in just 1 hour (9AM)! We're incredibly proud to be opening this online store, and cannot wait to make it public! 🌐

This launch comes on a particularly special day for us, as it falls on the 6‑year anniversary of when we first began trading. When we open at 9AM tomorrow (17th February 2026), the online store will open alongside us - marking an exciting new chapter for our business.

🔔 > IMPORTANT BUSINESS UPDATE < 🔔

After 6 years of active trading on eBay, during which we successfully completed over 4,100 transactions and maintained a record of 100% positive feedback, we regret to announce that our account has been indefinitely suspended - both unexpectedly and unfairly.

This action resulted from eBay’s "automation and artificial intelligence" processes, which generated a series of automated flags that ultimately led to our removal. At no point were we provided with a meaningful opportunity to address or resolve these automated assessments, despite our long-standing record of excellent service and compliance.

While we respect the need for large platforms to use automation and artificial intelligence to manage risk, the lack of human review in our case resulted in an outcome that does not reflect our performance - as well as our professionalism and commitment to buyer satisfaction. This experience has highlighted the limitations of automated enforcement systems and the challenges they can create for legitimate, high‑performing sellers. As a result, we will no longer be operating on eBay and will instead be focusing our efforts on the launch of Computava Store - alongside expanding our presence on alternative platforms that offer more transparent and balanced seller support.

To further protect the integrity of our business, we will be implementing a permanent blacklist of certain individuals and companies whose interactions have involved unreasonable demands or inappropriate conduct. This measure ensures that our valued customers and clients continue to experience a professional environment.

Today, Computava celebrates its 6th Birthday! 🎂🍰

It was six years ago today when Computava was founded, and what an amazing journey it has been to date! From battling coronavirus measures shortly after we launched to becoming a mobile-based business to ensure we could still operate, we have certainly had a rollercoaster of a journey! Now, six years later, we’re outlining plans for 2026 – including the launch of Computava Store! That’s right, the launch of our own e-commerce platform is finally happening! As well as this, we’re looking to be re-locating back into an office later in the year – for the first time since 2021! Be sure to stay tuned for a very exciting post in the next few days! 👀
