Access control is rarely just about locking and unlocking a door.

That’s the easier bit.

The real job is solving what happens around that door...

Staff arriving at the same time every morning.

Cleaners and contractors needing access outside normal hours.

Visitors coming into reception.

A server room that only a few people should be able to enter.

A school needing staff only areas, after school access and lockdown options.

A gym where members need to move through certain areas without queueing at the desk.

A block of flats where residents need control over who gets into the building.

That’s where CDVI ATRIUM fits in.

We’ve recently started working with CDVI UK, with our first shipment of ATRIUM gear due in soon.

ATRIUM gives you a proper access control platform to build these jobs around.

You can manage users, doors, schedules, access levels and areas from one system, with support for up to 500 doors and 10,000 users.

So instead of just fitting a product on a door, you can offer your customer a system that suits how their building actually works.

Offices.

Schools.

Commercial units.

Gyms and leisure centres.

Residential blocks.

Multi-site businesses.

Secure rooms.

Staff areas.

Visitor routes.

Out-of-hours access.

It gives you more room to quote access control properly, without having to cobble a solution together or limit the job because the system can’t keep up with what the customer needs.

There are also useful integration options with CCTV, intruder alarms, biometrics, lifts and ANPR, so you can build a more complete solution where the job needs it.

That’s why the training is important.

If you’re fitting access control, you need to know more than what goes where.

You need to understand how to build the system around the customer’s site, users and day-to-day routine.

We’ve got two practical CDVI training sessions booked in July:

Monday 20 July - Stockport

Tuesday 21 July - Leicester

Both start at 10:00

You’ll get hands-on with the kit, build working setups, see how the software works, and get a clearer feel for where ATRIUM fits into the jobs you’re quoting.

If you already fit access control, this is worth getting booked onto.

If you want to start quoting more of it, this is a strong place to start.

Drop us a message if you want a place, or book using the link in the comments.

You shouldn’t have to pay for something your customer doesn’t need. That’s why the new Ajax LifeQuality Lite makes a lot of sense... Until now, if your customer wanted temperature and humidity monitoring through Ajax, the obvious choice was LifeQuality.

Great device, but it also includes CO₂ monitoring.

And for some jobs, that’s not needed.

Think data rooms, greenhouses, storage areas, stock rooms, freezers, plant rooms or any space where the real risk is unstable temperature or humidity.

In those cases, you’re not trying to monitor air quality in the usual sense. You’re trying to protect equipment, stock, goods, or the environment itself.

LifeQuality Lite gives you the parts that matter for those jobs.

Temperature monitoring.

Humidity monitoring.

Ajax automation.

App based alerts.

Longer battery life.

A wider operating temperature range.

And a lower cost compared with the original LifeQuality.

You can now offer proper environmental monitoring without overspeccing the job or asking them to pay for CO₂ monitoring they’re never going to use.

It’s a simple addition to the Ajax Systems range, but a very useful one.

A better fit for the jobs where temperature and humidity are the real concern.

Available soon. Ask the team for more info.

The grey Uniview Dual Camera Doorbell is now in stock.

I know colour options aren’t exactly the most exciting news in the world, but this one is useful...

White doorbells have their place, but they don’t always look right.

Especially now so many homes have anthracite windows, darker composite doors, black handles, dark brickwork, grey gates and all the other finishes that have become normal on domestic jobs.

Sometimes the white one just stands out a bit too much.

The grey version gives you another option to offer your customers. Something that ties in better with the front of the property, instead of looking like the only finish available.

If you don’t already know about the Uniview Dual Camera Doorbell, it solves a very real problem.

Deliveries.

Drivers not knocking.

Parcels left in the rain.

Boxes left in plain sight.

The ‘sorry we missed you’ card when nobody even tried.

And the classic delivery photo that shows half a doorstep, a corner of a parcel and absolutely no useful clue where it has been left.

A camera above the door can help, but it doesn’t always show the bit your customer actually cares about.

The parcel on the floor.

That’s where the second lens comes into play.

One lens covers the visitor.

The other looks down at the area where deliveries normally get left.

So your customer can see who came to the door, speak to them through the app, and check where the parcel has actually ended up.

It also has motion, human presence and package detection, with alerts through the UNV Link App or back to the Uniview NVR.

There’s built in 8GB storage too, so you’re not fitting something that only becomes properly useful once your customer signs up to another cloud subscription.

If you’re already fitting Uniview, it’s an easy add-on.

For previous CCTV customers, it gives you a reason to go back with something useful to add onto their existing system.

Grey Uniview Dual Camera Doorbell now in stock at Satsecure.

You can only learn so much from a spec sheet.

At some point, you need to get the kit in your hands, see how it works, ask the awkward questions and understand where it actually fits on the jobs you’re quoting.

That’s what these Ajax Systems roadshow dates are for.

Ajax are taking their latest products around the UK this June, with live demos, new kit to get hands-on with, and the people behind the products in the room with you.

So if you’ve been looking at something and thinking:

How does that actually install?

Where does it fit?

Is it right for the jobs I’m pricing?

How do I explain the value to a customer?

This is a good place to ask.

We’ll be at every date too, so come and find us if you’re there.

Bad air kills productivity. It’s been tested in schools, offices, and even on the space station. But, can you do anything about it? Most installers would probably say no. Ajax LifeQuality lets you say yes. And that answer is worth money…

Ajax LifeQuality sits on an Hub you’re already installing. It’s wireless, battery powered, and measures CO2, temperature, and humidity once every minute.

So when you’re quoting Ajax Systems , it gives you another useful conversation to have with the customer.

Because poor air quality isn’t just a vague comfort issue.

Think classrooms, offices, waiting rooms, warehouses, server rooms, crane cabs, wine cellars, or anywhere CO2, temperature, and humidity can affect comfort, concentration, equipment, stock, or working conditions.

LifeQuality doesn’t just show the readings either.

It can trigger automation through Ajax, so ventilation, heating, or humidification can respond when the environment moves outside set thresholds.

That’s how you add something practical to the job.

Not just security. But, a better room to work in, learn in, wait in, store stock in, or protect equipment in.

Ajax Cloud stores air quality history for up to two years. So if a customer ever needs to demonstrate compliance, check trends, or simply show a landlord what the environment has been doing - the data is there.

If you’re already fitting Ajax, LifeQuality is an easy way to add value to the quote, open up a better conversation, and protect more margin.

Speak to Satsecure for samples or a demo unit.

Something happens on site. A theft, a confrontation, a disputed delivery. Someone now has to find the clip - and they have no idea where to start. On a busy site with multiple cameras, that can mean hours of scrubbing. For a lot of end users, that's the job of a manager or a security officer who has other things to do.

SeekFree changes that.

It's built into compatible Uniview NVRs - no extra hardware, no additional software licence.

The user describes what they're looking for: a person in a specific jacket, someone at a particular entrance, a vehicle.

SeekFree searches the recorded footage and returns the matching clip.

That's a tangible operational benefit you can put in front of a customer at quote stage. It's not a spec sheet feature - it's time saved on the day something actually goes wrong.

For installers speccing Uniview, it also strengthens your proposal.

You're not just quoting cameras and an NVR. You're quoting a system that actively reduces the burden of an incident review.

That's a harder comparison for a competitor to undercut on price alone.

If you're not already including SeekFree in your Uniview specs, it's worth adding to your standard offer.

Speak to the Satsecure team if you want a demo before your next quote.

It's been a great day in Leicester with a solid group of installers. We launched our partnership with CDVI UK at The Security Event (TSE) earlier this year, and today was about giving you the chance to get properly hands-on with the range before you start putting it into quotes and onto jobs.

Access control is definitely one of those areas where confidence comes from actually using the product. And that's what today was about.

Manchester is up next on the 18 May.

Still spaces if you want in - message us and we'll get you booked on. Or visit www.satsecure.co.uk/train to get your spaces secured now.

Keval is taking on something properly challenging this month. On 20th May, he’ll be cycling from London to Paris for BAPS Charities - covering over 250 miles across 4 days. And this isn’t one of those 'cycle to Paris' challenges done from the comfort of home on an exercise bike...

Kev will be out on the road, dealing with the weather, the miles, the tired legs, the maintenance, the overnight stops, and everything else that comes with cycling from one country to another.

He’s set himself a £1,000 fundraising target, and we’d love to help him get there.

BAPS Charities do incredible work supporting communities and people in need, so every donation, whether it’s £5, £10 or more, helps turn Kev’s challenge into something much bigger.

We’re proud to support you, Kev.

If you’d like to donate, you can do so here:

Good luck Keval!

You’ve now got another proper access control option available through Satsecure. We’ve recently started working with CDVI, and after the conversations we had at The Security Event (TSE), it’s clear a lot of you are already looking at where it could fit into the jobs you’re quoting.

So we’ve got two practical training sessions booked in to help you get to grips with it properly.

Leicester - Monday 11 May: 10:00 - 14:30

Manchester - Monday 18 May: 10:00 - 14:30

CDVI GROUP gives you a strong range to build access control quotes around, without having to piece a job together from different brands just to make it work.

You’ve got standalone and online systems, controllers, credentials, locking devices, web based management, and the support behind it to help you quote and install with more confidence.

The training is hands on too.

You’ll build working setups, see how everything connects, and get a much clearer feel for how CDVI works once you’re on site.

If access control is something you want to quote more often, or you want another brand in your range that helps your quote feel more complete, this is a good session to get booked onto.

Drop us a message if you want a place. Or get booked with the link in the comments below.

And if the dates don’t work but you’re keen, let us know and we’ll look at getting another one sorted.
