We are absolutely thrilled to have had our application approved to join the Government's Kickstart scheme 😊 Young jobseekers have been hit hard by the pandemic and we hope a 6 month placement with us will give the successful applicant the Kickstart they need. Our role is a mix of technical, customer service, administration and sales and the skills we can offer will definitely be an asset to any young person. If you know of anyone who may be interested ask them to get in touch and we'll let them know when the advert goes live.

The pandemic and lockdown have forced a lot of businesses to pivot online. This requires fast, reliable and affordable broadband, something which a significant number of business in the UK are still unable to access. This puts them at a huge disadvantage in the current climate. Dave Monck from was in this unfortunate situation until we stepped in and connected his recording and rehearsal studios to our superfast fibre broadband. Dave was relieved, excited and hopeful that this could be transformative for him and his business. He was kind enough to share a few words

We have such a varied mix of businesses amongst our customer base. Whether its to support our business or for something personal, there's always someone we can reach out to and give us some satisfaction in paying a little back to them for their business with us. In this case it was Kate who made this fantastic 1st birthday cake for the son of one of our dad's. It really made a favourite book come to life...and hit the spot as a treat. Thanks Kate!!

Pass-through RJ45 connectors...an invaluable item in any engineers toolbox. Perfectly crimped cables every time. The old school might call it cheating but when you have a full office floor of structured cabling to install, efficiency is key. One of our engineers had claimed recently to have never heard of them and another claimed to have invented them! Who do you believe???

A K E S O M E T I M E O U T #

When you're a business owner its common to put all your energy and time into your business. You have long term goals and you can develop tunnel vision focusing on those goals at the expense of the here and now. It's easy to sacrifice time for yourself and your wellbeing chasing your dreams. But without rest and down time you risk running on empty and being unable to perform at your best. If you can't perform at your peak your goals will get that little bit further away and so starts a vicious cycle.

Today, on mental health day 2020, remember to take some time to focus on yourself and recharge your batteries. Do something for you that you enjoy and top up those reserves. A few minutes a day looking after your wellbeing won't cause your business to fail. But without self care you won't be able to perform at your highest level and your business may suffer. Look after yourself
