Full Livery yard only. Limited spaces available.

Private family yard specialising in backing and schooling of horses and ponies, problem horses and competition livery. All horses are sympathetically introduced to ridden work and no gadgets are used to allow the horse to develop naturally.

There’s something quite magical about riding as the sun is rising.

We genuinely rarely have livery spaces available so we have used the opportunity of having some empty stables to clear out each one, power wash and repaint all of the yard. I called it my “labour of love”to keep up the motivation !
The 3 spaces advertised have now been filled. One will be a new livery to us but two have been taken by returning liveries who we are delighted to see rejoining our friendly little yard.
Sadly due to changing circumstances of a current livery I will have a space available from mid November.
Full livery is £140 p/w which includes everything except hard feed.

🎉🌞Petplan Summer Area Festival 🌞🎉
It's been a busy few months for Josie! We registered with BD at the end of March, and since then she's qualified for the Scottish Championships and picked up her Petplan sheets in both Prelim & Novice.

The Scottish Championships was a fantastic experience for Josie. She took everything in her stride, including the arena walk, and was an absolute star all day, finishing in the middle of her class.

This past weekend we headed to Petplan Area Festivals at Netherton. Saturdays Novice Bronze test started with some tension then Josie popped a flying change before the counter canter which was reflected in our overall score. However, she didn't bat an eyelid at the three judges' box or even Mr Pigeon ,who had been sabotaging tests, so I'll definitely take that as a win!

Sunday's Prelim Silver couldn't have gone any better. Josie produced a confident, mistake-free test to score 68%, finishing 4th out of 26—just missing out on the podium!

Our nemesis, the left canter, is still very much our greatest weakness, but we'll get there. Considering Josie only turned five last month, I'm incredibly proud of how far she's come and so excited to see what the future holds for her.

A huge thank you, as always, to Karen Dewar Dressage for all the training and support, and to Fiona Optimize Vet Chiropractic for keeping Josie feeling and performing her best.
