This Friday we’re showing off the club lab network we’ve been building: a proper little self-hosted stack, not just a pile of random PCs. We’ll demo **Sun**, our Proxmox server, the **OpenWRT** router VM that gets the whole lab online, **TrueNAS** providing shared storage from a 3-disk ZFS array, and **Fusion**, our Debian worker VM that serves the LTSP/PXE boot system for net-booting Linux clients. If you’re into servers, networks, Linux, storage, or just want to see how a room of machines can be turned into one cohesive system, come along.

This Friday we’re showing off the club lab network we’ve been building: a proper little self-hosted stack, not just a pile of random PCs. Hey everyone! Just a reminder that our Computing Society get-together is coming up! We’ll have a fantastic mix of Wii video games, a Nintendo Switch, and classic physical games like Uno and other card games. The Chess Society will also be bringing their chess boards! Plus, we’re collaborating with the Gaming Society, the Card Society, and the Chess Society, so it’s going to be an amazing multi-club event. We can’t wait to see you all there!

we have a stall at the society fair on Thursday if you are interested joining the society or would just like to know what we are all about now’s the perfect time to come along and have a chat with us.
