Global shortages means finding even the simplest of parts can become difficult. Without them, we can't build our circuits.

Over the years we've built fantastic relationships with various suppliers but we're also expert at searching out new contacts to ensure continued supply of those parts. Recent times have tested us, yet we've still managed to find the right parts when we needed them and for when our customers needed product.

But even we realise there may come a time when we simply can't find the right parts any longer. For some that may mean a redesign of the electronics inside to continue with that function, in other cases such as connectors, that might end that product. Many difficult decisions will be made in the coming years to be able to support our customers. We hope we're up to the challenge.

Bug fix for Loyalty Store released. Yes, sometimes we make mistakes too!

The problem was actually quite simple - Dark Mode. When flipping in to Dark Mode the text in the picker was changing from black to white, making it look that there wasn't any cards stored. What we needed to do was fix it so that the background flipped from white to black to keep the contrast too.

Sorry for the inconvenience. And a big thanks to the users who emailed to tell us there was a problem. Really appreciated.

PIN Store gets an update.

Hate to admit it, but this came about because I rarely used my credit card in person with all the on-line shopping I do. When in a store I couldn't remember the PIN number! Thankfully, I had another card to pay with, but this app would have given me the reminder I needed.

Home Theater SPL receives a service update.

We're keeping the app up to date for new versions of iOS. As a user the functionality is the same, but behind the scenes we're keeping the code compatible with the newer versions of the operating systems. Some methods the older versions use are having support by Apple dropped in the future. By keeping the app updated you will be able to continue to use the app as we've rewritten the parts where Apple have introduced replacement methods.

As with all of our apps, even though we've had to reengineer some parts, there is no charge for updates.

Service update for TestCard proHD 4k. Both iOS and tvOS (Apple TV) updates issued.

These keep the apps updated to follow the updates to iOS and tvOS. Although no added features in this update, this does mean that TestCard proHD is fresh and able to continue working. It's a software update for a new OS for free.

We wanted our testcard solution to be one which was far superior to those on DVD by ensuring that you get updates. That it would do more than the typical DVD could do. We've proven this by adding extra functions to the initial release. We added an SPL Meter specifically for Home Cinema, we've added extra testcards, we've even added tools for testing audio delays. All of these updates and new features covered by the one original purchase.

An update to Loyalty Store has just been released, mainly with behind the hood updates to keep the code compatible with new methods released by Apple.

This was quite a difficult update for iCloud support. Methods for interacting with iCloud have changed and unfortunately the documentation hasn't kept up. Even the text books we buy (yes, we're always learning!) didn't cover how the new methods worked.

If there's a problem with syncing loyalty cards between devices please let us know and we'll do our best to investigate. But please understand, this is a free app and the tiny revenue from the banner advert wouldn't buy you a coffee very often.

TestCard ProHD 4k received an update today on iOS devices. Just a service update to keep up to date with changing Apple frameworks.

This is an important update, one which has taken a little while to ready, because the way some of the frameworks have change significantly since TestCard ProHD was created. By ensuring that the app uses the current frameworks, and not legacy ones, we're keeping the app working for you.

As always, all existing users receive this update without any additional purchases.

MetroBaby receives a service update today.

It's the app for entertaining babies and toddlers when on the move. Just the right level of detail for young minds, just the right amount of complexity for developing minds too.

Need to calm a baby? Show them MetroBaby and this will quickly distract them, and quickly have a smile back on their face when they see what happens when they tap a tile!

Apple TV version of TestCard proHD 4k gets a little update.

A customer wrote yesterday that that the lists of testcard sections and cards were only showing the highlighted one. It would appear with the latest update from Apple & TVOS that white text is now on a white background when using the default colour scheme.

This update fixes this by changing to a grey background for those lists, and we've adjusted other parts for better clarity too.

As always, updates are free to all existing customers.

Apple TV version of our TestCard ProHD app has received an update!

This is just a service update to keep the app fresh and current with the versions of the OS. Keeping your copy of the app able to run on Apple TV, and unlike other software on different platforms, you get the update free and you don't have to buy yet again.

Remember too that if you buy on Apple TV you get access on your iOS devices that share the same Apple ID. Multiple copies for one purchase and free updates.
