A big thank you to the British Mountaineering Council BMC Lakes Area for inviting our Nell to speak at their latest event, attended by Mountain Rescue volunteers and members of the public and local teams.

It was great to see such a well-attended session, with plenty of engagement, discussion and meaningful conversations about su***de prevention and the local picture here in Cumbria.

The more we talk about su***de and learn how to recognise when someone might be struggling, the better equipped we are to support each other and help save lives.

Are you a Cumbrian club, business or organisation? Get in touch to find out more about our su***de prevention training and talks.

Because su***de prevention is everyone’s business. 💜

Social impact should be real not just something we talk about.

I’ve been thinking about the phrase “social power washing” not as a criticism, but as a reminder that sustainability and social good need to be backed by action.

At Sustainable Tech 4 Good™ we believe in doing the work, measuring the impact and being transparent about the results.

💻 7,983 people helped with access to technology
♻️ 12,770 kg of e-waste diverted from landfill
💧 11.17 million litres of water saved
🌱 1.7 million kg of CO₂ emissions saved

Behind every number is real technology, real people and real communities.
For us, sustainability and social value are about making a difference now and creating impact that lasts. Because every device has more than one story to tell.™

This picture tells a story... I'm handing over a mobile phone for someone who needs it and I can tell you it's humbling knowing that it will help someone progress in life.

Sustainable Tech 4 Good ~ Partnering with Louise Sherwood from Insights CIC with her reconnect project from the start will create more mobile phone device stories get into the hands of people who need them. 📲

Louise Sherwood says...

"Thank you so much for the donation of the 'first' mobile phone for one of the refuges I'm now supporting, this will be life changing.
