Website problems don’t usually come with warning lights
If your contact form stops working, somebody will eventually notice.
The more difficult problems are the ones where everything appears to be working perfectly well because the pages load and ther menu works. The telephone number is there. So nothing looks obviously wrong.
In spite of that, the site may be losing enquiries because the main message is vague, there isn’t enough evidence, the wording sounds like every competitor, or your visitor is being asked to work too hard to find what they need.
It’s the combination of all these things that matters.
I prefer to look at a website in its entirety rather than judging it by individual pages.
A visitor doesn’t think, “The homepage was quite good but I’ll award the About page six out of ten.”
They form an impression of the business and decide whether or not to get in touch.
