A common fault with 12 year old iMac's is the power board fails 🔌 luckily it's not an expensive part to replace, and will now give the owner many more years again of reliable use.. 👌🖥️🔌

Gone are the days when replacing a Windows laptop battery only took a minute, as they all clipped onto the bottom cover. Now it's a complete parting of the laptop body, with often hidden screws and plastic clips that can break easily... 😕🔋💻🪫🪛

Anyone still using this OS on a old PC 30 years later since it was released this week? A few still use XP some Vista and more Windows 7. I still personally use 10, although security updates will be gradually withdrawn in October. Maybe you have a old PC or laptop that says it's not possible to upgrade? Don't buy a new one save money as we can still upgrade to Windows 11 Pro on any computer 👍, a RAM upgrade may be required but not always necessary. Please contact us for a quote... 📲💻🖥

These HP Compaq dc7600 small form factor with Intel Core2Duo processor desktop PC's go on forever, especially when fitted with a 128 GB SSD and 6 GB RAM for a customer, has given the computer a whole new lease of life.. 👇👍🖥⌨️🖱

Still going strong 14 years later the A1278 was always the most reliable Apple MacBook Pro. Although it still has the origianal SATA hard drive, it was possible for a new installation of macOS Monterey that is not offically able to install on a 2011 model. Along with an extra 4GB of memory now gives the computer back full functionality above macOS Catalina, which is no longer supported by Apple for security updates. If you have an older MacBook or iMac, contact us to extend it's working life and save money on having to buy a much newer model for a lot less than you think... 👍💻🖥

I don't often see this model come in for repair now a 2009 Toshiba Satellite L350, with charging socket damaged so required a complete strip down with no less than 29 screws to take the body apart. While completely stripped down the cooling fan and logic board cleaned from over 15 years of dust, reasembled and Windows 10 updated including firmware and now running again like new... 💻💁‍♂️

Apple MacBook Air Core M1 model with a damaged screen, be careful when closing the lid on these slim models, and there is nothing on the keyboard as it may crack the LCD behind the glass. Then require a complete lid and screen assembly which is a expensive component, which I fitted to the laptop this week at a fraction of Apple genius bar costs.. 🍏💻👍

11 years ago today, Microsoft ended support for Windows XP.
