Was the Amstrad GX4000 really a bad console, or did it just arrive at the wrong time?

The full GX4000 video is coming tomorrow, where I take a proper look at the hardware, open it up, and see what’s actually going on inside.

The Commodore 64 GS was a strange attempt to turn the legendary C64 into a cartridge-based games console. Released in 1990, it had no keyboard, no cassette support and no disk drive, which meant it lost much of what made the original C64 so versatile.

With limited games and tough competition, the C64 GS quickly became one of Commodore’s most unusual failures.

I’ve ordered 5 junk Game Boy Pockets from Japan using JPfans — 4 in one job lot and 1 extra on its own.

They’re all sold as junk, which for most people is probably a warning…

For me? Perfect 😄

When they arrive, I’ll test every one and see how many can actually be saved.

New JPfans users can get $86 worth of shipping coupons + 50% OFF their first Mercari order.
