Just reading news that Alpine has handed distribution of its products to another company in the USA from Jan 1st 2027.
With Sony no longer there the car radio industry is definitely seeing changes. I don't think Apple will pull out a new product that saves the industry like they did twice before ( ipod & IPhone/carplay )

Fantastic day today at the speaker factory seeing how our Presto Connect speakers and others are made, the process from start to finish is superb to see, when you sit with the guys who designed and made the product for us and he's bursting with enthusiasm about the project it confirms we made the right choice. We literally have unlimited options going forwards.

MASORI One of the biggest online resellers of car audio in Europe has pulled the plug. This is quite a significant change in the industry for many brands who allowed them to s**g out their brands across Europe. Is this a sign that people are going back to buying car audio locally from specialists in bricks and mortar stores ? Or is it no longer enough to just pile it high sell it cheap? In my opinion the key to this is integration into new cars, if you don't have this then your customers are not confident to add amps and subs etc, too many shops aren't promoting the damage free / reversable aspect of installs, this is because they won't invest in the proper speaker and amplifier fitting parts. Car prices are at a record high and people have to be confident the installer is not going to wreck the warranty.
Just my take on it.

High end DD Audio coaxials ready for the Kia PV5 Cargo 😍
These will be ridiculously good in the door with plenty of sound deadening. The PV5 Cargo has no factory tweeters and the owner did not any modifications. These are perfect for a van on lease, they also fit the rear door of the passenger model.

Vauxhall Mokka complete speaker upgrade with DD Audio 2 way components and coaxials in the rear. The doors were heavily sound deadened and the entire system is powered by a Feelart dsp amplifier with a plug and play harness.
Sounded absolutely gorgeous.
