17 years old. Two CDJs. One radio mix. 🎧

Martin Garrix at KISS FM in 2013. Thirteen years later, No. 2 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2026.

Your sets are part of your story too. Record them. Listen back. Keep improving.

Who remembers this Garrix era? 👇

We’re excited to announce a new partnership between Evermix and pointblank. 🎧

Together, we’re bringing music education and DJ technology closer for the next generation of DJs - from learning and creating to performing, recording and sharing.

Our shared goal is to help more DJs build their skills, capture their sets and take their sound from the classroom to the club.

This is just the beginning. The future sounds good.

A few weeks ago, won at 🏆

The prize: a Ministry of Sound residency plus £25k of equipment, studio time and artist development. And right there in the booth with him was our very own , DJ, producer and the brains behind our socials.

The support didn't stop at the final either. Mads has already jumped on a call with Sam to plan his next chapter.

Congrats to Sam and all six finalists, who each went home with an EvermixBox5 to record, stream and share their sets. Can't wait to hear what comes next 🎧

Shoutout to fellow mentors , and huge thanks to and the whole team for an incredible production.

DJs-if you’re not recording your sets, you’re leaving growth and bookings on the table.

Here’s Part 6 of Tips Every DJ Needs To Hear - record your sets:

1. Your recorded sets are proof of your sound (treat them like your portfolio)

2. Make it easy to hear you without being in the room

3. Don’t rely on phone mic audio - aim for clean, direct-from-mixer sound

4. Clip highlights: intro, switch-up, best 30s, biggest crowd moment

5. Label recordings: date, venue, city, vibe (+ a few track IDs)

6. Turn one set into many posts: teaser, full mix link, BTS, track IDs in comments

Follow, and comment “RECORD” if you want my exact recording setup checklist.
