Windows 11 24H2 Update KB5063878
Information has emerged that this update may cause data loss and system boot failures, so it is recommended that it be uninstalled to do this:

Open settings (Start > Settings)
Select Windows Update (Top Right)
Click Update History
Click Uninstall Updates (you may need to scroll down to this)
If present select update (KB5063878) and click Uninstall
Restart the PC

Pause Windows updates for a few days while Microsoft fixes this issue

I've had several 'phone calls over the last few days about Microsoft Word suddenly stopping working; this seems to coincide with a windows update (I suspect KB5006670).

If Word (seems mainly the older versions; 2007) suddenly stops working the solution is to uninstall your default printer (from Programs in control panel if it was installed via a setup program or from Devices & Printers if Windows provided its own driver).

Restart the computer and make sure Word is working again.
(i.e. Make sure this was the problem you were suffering from!)

Reinstall your printer. Make sure you have the latest driver from the manufacturer rather than the disc that was included with the printer; these are usually out of date (even if you've just bought the printer) and may add to your problems.

Some network printers may also need you to uninstall KB5006670 for them to work again. To uninstall KB5006670 go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs & Features-> View Installed Updates find KB5006670 and uninstall it.

Are you fed up with getting this message every few days after a recent Windows 10 update?

You can stop it, just follow these steps:
Click the Settings Cog on your Windows (Start) Button
Click System
Click Notifications
Remove the tick by “Suggest the best ways I can finish setting up my device to get the most out of Windows”

Once done you will no longer receive the reminder, that’s not to say Microsoft won’t re-enable it for you in a future update!
