Did you know we fix Samsungs too? This S24 wouldn't charge unless you angled the cable, and then not even that. Genuine Samsung service pack parts only, so no problems. All swapped and fast charging fine.

iPad not charging? It might not be the cable 🔌

On an iPad the charging port is soldered straight onto the main board, so when it fails, most shops say it needs a new iPad. This one had a corroded port. We replace the port itself at board level, under the microscope.

It is a job other repair shops send to us. Lightning and USB-C iPads.

Did you know we fix satnavs too? This Snooper S6900 had a faulty charge port. Tricky one, the port is mounted vertical, not on the side. Taken apart, port swapped with some skilful soldering and now charging fine 👏

📱 iPad Pro 13" – dropped, dented power button, stuck on the recovery screen

This one came in after a drop. The power button was pushed into the housing and the iPad booted straight to the recovery screen every time it was plugged in.

The screen on these is one of the hardest to remove. Once inside, we freed the button, reshaped the dented housing so it sat properly again, and rebuilt the snapped button bracket, because there's no replacement part available anywhere.

Boots perfectly, button clicks like new, and the original Touch ID still works. Replacing the button usually means losing Touch ID for good.

iPhone 11 Pro in with no sound from the ear piece. Over the years they block up with dust, and even worse, makeup. This one needed a new speaker soldered onto the flex, mesh cleaned out, and it's back to very loud.

A badly damaged USB stick and a business client desperate for the data. Normally the port goes back on the board, but this one was too far gone, so 9 jumper wires went from the port onto the pads instead. Got all the data back, just under 7GB.

Genuine Apple screen, set up properly 📱

This iPhone came in with a smashed display. We fitted a genuine Apple screen and finished the repair through Apple's own parts setup, so the phone shows it as a genuine Apple part in Settings, with True Tone working as it should.

Most iPhone screens are done while you wait or the same day, at our workshop in Banks, Southport. iPads too, including board-level repairs that other shops send away.
