Making waves. Not just websites.

This one has been a real gem…

Not just building a beautiful website, but helping Future Marine Research Infrastructure redefine its course to power the future of marine science. It had all the good stuff we love doing to make a real splash.

A deep research-led process, plenty of creative exploration and flowing collaboration with some lovely people.

Ideas are precious – and they don’t always happen on purpose. We often see surprise connections that make us ask the question: what if? Not for a brief or a deadline, but just for fun. So we keep hold of them because they can lead onto other ideas, and because being playful is what helps make us fruitful.

What if PG Tips created a campaign that holds up a mirror to the way conversations are shifting in the age of AI agents – while reminding us of the enduring value of those face-to-face moments shared over a brew? The real conversations we have as humans – primates, even – drinking, talking, and yes, sometimes spilling the tea 🐵☕🫖

Designing for impact 🌍

We partnered with Woodley Trial Solutions to design and build a case study showcasing how global clinical trials are supporting malaria research – an ongoing challenge that still affects millions each year.

Our challenge was to translate complex clinical trial logistics into a clear, engaging digital experience. Through thoughtful UX, structured storytelling and clean visual design, we created a page that highlights both the operational impact and the human importance behind the work.

A project where design meets purpose. Because great design isn’t just about aesthetics – it’s about telling the stories that matter.

The Motorcycle Injury Prevention Network (MIPnet) has a simple goal: to investigate which measures actually reduce motorcycle collisions on our roads and share this research, freely and widely to help prevent motorcyclists from being seriously injured or killed – without spoiling the fun and freedom associated with riding a bike! We are proud to have created their official logo.

Co-lead for MIPnet, Dr Ian Mew said, “We’re delighted with the end result. It’s very unique, so clearly identifiable, encompasses how we treat everyone as a key player in this work, particularly the motorcycling community itself, and how the circular pattern reflects our approach to innovation, implementation, assessment and evaluation before re-innovating and so starting the cycle again. This gives us a very clear identity, which I hope will become identifiable with high-quality research that is relevant, impactful and honest.”

We love working with the fabulous Fieldings Auctioneers! Their monthly auctions range from jewellery to ceramics to specialist coins to wh**ky! The Fruitful Studio favourite has to be Vinyl, Vintage Toys, Cameras, Memorabilia & Comics. 🎥

Day-to-day work includes marketing emails and supporting social media content but our relationship goes way back to 2011 and other projects over the years have included web design and build, SEO, branding, signage and good old fashioned print of course. The best bit for us is working with a team who clearly have such a passion for what they do. 🖤
