HMRC planned system upgrade on Thursday 22nd October 2026, 14:00 BST to 18:00 BST (4 hrs)
Albacore have been advised by HMRC that there will be a planned system upgrade on Thursday 22nd October 2026 from14:00 to 18:00 BST(4 hours). During this timeframe, the services normally provided by NCH will be unavailable. This includes (but is not limited to) the following: ISR/IAR Cancellations Licensing Indicator Cancellations Override for Inventory Failure Requests submitted during this period may not be processed until the upgrade has been completed and services have been restored. HMRC has asked Albacore to pass on their apology for any inconvenience caused during this planned maintenance activity and to thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

ASN and LUCAS Live Planned Maintenance Outage on Thursday 22nd October 2026, 14:00 BST to 18:00 BST (4 hrs).
Albacore have been advised the following by HMRC. The monthly patching cycle for ASN and LUCAS Live is scheduled for Thursday 22nd October 2026, from 14:00 BST to 18:00 BST As the patching activity requires a service outage to allow the updates to be applied and the servers to be rebooted, the servers will be placed into maintenance mode during this period. ASN and LUCAS will therefore be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance window. CDS Trader Dress Rehearsal Service Planned Outage
HMRC have asked us to advise you that due to scheduled maintenance, the CDS Trader Dress Rehearsal (TDR) service will be unavailable during the period; 12:00 to 16:00 Tuesday 20th October 2026 (4 hours, UK time). There will be a complete outage during this period. During this maintenance window HMRC will be refreshing the data held in TDR: Trader personal, account, and licensing data, using data which has been copied from Production on Tuesday 20th October and Refreshing UK/EU Tariff data, using data which has been copied from Production on Wednesday 7th October.

Albacore have been advised that MCP will be applying security patches and performing necessary server maintenance to Destin8 in the following window: Monday, 12th October 2026 at 20:30 BST for up to 60 minutes. CDS messages submitted during this period will be queued and automatically processed once Destin8 is back up. CNS - Urgent Cargoes Update Today 28 September - With Downtime.
Albacore have been advised that an urgent update to the Cargoes platform will require a short 10-minute downtime today at 4pm (UK time). During this time the CNS Customs Declaration Management System (CDMS), DMS, Pre-Lodgement, Transit and GB Safety & Security systems will be unavailable. HMRC has advised Albacore that there will be a planned CDS (Customs Declaration Service) downtime on Saturday 26th September 2026 19:00 PM BST to Sunday 27th September 2026 08:30 AM BST (13.5hrs). Declarations submitted during this timeframe will be processed at the end of the downtime. Creating, updating, or embarking a goods movement reference (GMR) that are linked to CDS could be affected during the times listed.
