Teachers are expected to mark fairly & consistently…

…usually at the point in the day when they have the least energy left to do it.

That is a huge ask.

Because good marking is not just putting a number on a page: it is applying the criteria properly, giving feedback that makes sense and noticing what needs following up next.

What teachers need is not more pressure to “do it better”. They need the process itself to feel lighter, clearer and easier to manage.

We covered exactly how SmartEducator helps with this in our recent webinar. We spoke about how teachers can spend less energy getting through the process and more energy to move learning forward with impactful feedback.

A lot of teachers hear “AI marking” and immediately think, “Okay… but my students handwrite all of their work, so what then?”

Which is fair.

Because a lot of real classroom assessment and even homework is still handwritten responses, just like in their exams.

So if a platform only works when everything is typed neatly and uploaded perfectly, it is not really solving the problem teachers actually have.

That is one of the reasons SmartEducator is so useful in real school life.

It can handle handwritten work too, which makes it much more practical when your marking pile looks like actual school, not a polished demo.

DM us the word REPLAY and we’ll send you the webinar link so you can see how well SmartEducator handles handwritten work.

Teachers, have you ever had that moment at 8:30pm when you’re at home watching TV and suddenly you know exactly how you should have explained something you taught earlier that day?

Not because you were not good enough when you taught it. Not because you didn’t care enough.

Because now you’ve finally got enough distance to see it clearly… but you’ve also got no energy left to do anything with that thought.

That is what so many teachers are up against.

You are not short on ideas. You are short on time and headspace to actually use them.

When marking and admin take over your evening, the bit that improves teaching gets pushed aside (even though that is the bit your students actually need most).

That is a huge part of why SmartEducator exists.

DM us the word REPLAY and we’ll send you the webinar link so you can see exactly how it works.

Imagine walking out of school on a Thursday evening with nothing to take home.

No class set of books on the passenger seat. No telling yourself you'll start it after dinner, knowing full well that after dinner you have nothing left to give.

Imagine sitting down with your family on a weeknight and actually being present. Not half there, thinking about the pile of books waiting for you upstairs.

Imagine going into Friday already thinking about the weekend instead of calculating how much of it the marking will steal.

Imagine opening your laptop on a Sunday morning to plan a lesson because you want to and the headspace to actually do something with it, not because you’d spent HOURS in the week marking rather than planning lessons.

That is what 8 hours a week back actually looks like for teachers using SmartEducator.

We covered exactly how in our recent webinar. Watch the replay here:

Teachers are getting 8 hours a week back from assessment admin when they use SmartEducator. Here’s where that time is going:

Better lesson planning.
More time to plan questioning to spot misconceptions.
Earlier nights.
Weekends that actually feel like weekends.

Teachers using SmartEducator are saving 8+ hours a week on assessment admin and some are seeing up to a 90% reduction in the time it takes them every night.

And that time does not just disappear into thin air.

It goes back into the feedback, the planning and the teaching that actually moves students forward.

That is exactly what teachers came to see live at our recent webinar and we can share the replay with you so you can catch up on it, too.

DM us ‘REPLAY’ and we will send it straight to your DMs.

You became a teacher to change the direction of someone’s life. Not to spend your evenings buried in assessment.

And teachers know that assessment is a very important part of the job. But the admin that comes with it?

Those hours add up and are stopping teachers from spending that time planning tomorrow’s lessons, or figuring out what questions to ask during their observation next week, or preparing a recall quiz to help them use assessment effectively in the classroom

Exhausted teachers cannot do their best thinking after a full teaching day AND having to mark for hours in the evening. And students feel that.

In our recent webinar, we showed you exactly how SmartEducator can help you to get 8 hours a week back.

The replay is available now. Comment LINK and we will send it over.

Did any of these happen to you?

If they did, then you need to watch the replay of our recent webinar.

We looked at how SmartEducator can make creating and marking assessments up to 90% more efficient and give your students individual feedback.

That means less time on repetitive marking for you and more time on the feedback that actually changes outcomes for students.

Yesterday, we went live for SmartEducator: First Class and, in just 60 minutes, teachers from the UK and US saw exactly what AI-powered assessment can actually look like in a real classroom.

No product pitch. No generic AI demo.

Just a real, honest look at how teachers are cutting assessment time by up to 90%, getting 8+ hours a week back and finally having the headspace to do what actually moves learning forward.

If you missed it, the replay is ready and waiting.

Telling teachers to “protect their wellbeing” while handing them more work is not support…

It is gaslighting.

A poster in the staffroom will not fix burnout.

Neither will a wellbeing email, a free yoga session or another reminder to “set boundaries”.

Not if the marking still comes home.
Not if the reports still eat into the evening.
Not if admin still fills every spare gap in the day.

Teachers do not need wellbeing to become another thing they are expected to manage perfectly.

They need the workload itself to change.

We are sharing something soon that speaks directly to that.

Loving teaching does not mean you should have to donate every evening to it.

So many teachers still care deeply about the job, but feel worn down by everything wrapped around it.

That is why workload matters so much when we talk about wellbeing and retention.

We are sharing something in our upcoming webinar that will make that load feel lighter & let you focus on doing more high-quality teaching with less admin.

Message us LINK and we’ll send it over so you don’t miss out!
