The Chinwe Russell Art Gallery https://www.chinwerussell.com/ has an online exhibition:
Art as a Response to Mental Health 2026
My website client and super-talented friend Cath Janes has submitted her powerful piece of fine art embroidery - Torment and Demands - and been accepted for the online exhibition. There is some fantastic and deeply moving work included in this exhibition of response to mental health. I beg you to view and if you feel you'd like to vote then all you need to do is log in and find the name of the artist whose work has most meant something to you.
I voted for Cath Janes Anatomy and if you'd like to see more of her anatomical embrodery pieces visit her website here: https://cathjanes.com

Ten years ago I designed a website for Abergavenny based builder Gethin Haycock. He recently asked for a few changes and updates - a new logo; a new colour scheme and to feature a couple of superb building projects he and his team have worked on recently.

It's been so rewarding to see how Gethin's business has developed and I couldnt help but be very impressed with his standard of work. Well done GRH Building Contractors. I'm delighted you came back to me to create a site that matches (I hope you'll agree) his high standard of work

What happens to your client base when you move your thriving business from one end of the country to another?

My client Stuart Spray has for many years been providing expert ecological consultancy services in support of planning, development, conservation, and land management projects throughout the north of England and Scotland. He recently made a huge move to the south of England and has relaunched his business in Sussex, Essex and Kent. A long, long way from up north!

Here is his brand new website and I wish him all the very best success! Stuart - you know where I am if anything needs tweaking!

My clients (and friends) Rejoice With Voice CIC received a lovely thank you note from Hannah Spencer for Gorton and Denton. She came along to The Community Passion Play held at Manchester Monastery on Good Friday. Brian and I were delighted to be sitting next to her. https://www.rejoicewithvoice.co.uk/events.html

I'm so proud of my friend (and website client) Cath Janes.
Cath is an artist specialising in anatomical art and her medium is embroiderey.

Cath was interviewed by Lynn Bowles last Sunday afternoon on BBC Radio Wales. She chats about showing her latest hand embroidered art piece in London along with how and why she stitches about maternal mental health. You can also hear about her creative process, how long it takes to complete a piece and what art she’s currently working on at the time of broadcast.

You know when you do something at work and you think 'this is going to make a difference'? Well I have just completed a website for Keep It Sorted which is a Monmouth based handyman service run by Wayne Keep and when I lived in Monmouth I would have been thrilled to know someone who could effortlessly do all those annoying jobs that aren't quite big enough for a fully qualified, trained builder, plumber or electrician but just too complicated for me to do myself.

So I give you my latest website commission: https://keepitsorted.co.uk and I hope my Monmouthshire friends will benefit from having a brilliant handyman just a phone call away that won't cost you the price of a night out to fix your sink/shower/garden shed/fence and - the worse job of all - a flat-packed piece of Swedish furniture named after something completely unpronounceable and impossible to put together.

Wayne Keep provides home and garden repairs in Monmouth, Wyesham, Osbaston, Overmonnow, Trellech, Mitchel Troy, Coleford and Chepstow.
