Attention anyone who uses Apple products (ipod/ipad/iphone) with their Windows PC.

Quicktime (which is usually installed at the same time as iTunes or during a routine Apple Software Update so you may not know you even have it installed) is no longer being updated by Apple and has become a security risk as a result.

Apple recommends that you uninstall Quicktime 7 from your Windows PC ASAP to protect yourself from potential attackers whilst browsing online.

You can easily check if Quicktime is installed on your system by looking at the list of programs in "Programs and Features" inside "Control Panel".

If Quicktime's in the list, then you have it installed and now is the time to remove it........

Highlight Quicktime in the list by clicking on it once with the left mouse button, then click the uninstall button at the top of the list of programs and follow the prompts. On most systems it'll take less than a minute.

Be sure to restart your computer after the uninstall completes even if the uninstaller doesn't offer to do so.

Quite impressed with Windows 10 so far. It runs better than XP and Vista x64 on my computer with hardware that's nearly 7 years old (and was running XP) and the upgrade process was pretty painless.
