This ps5 was dropped in as it was overheating, can we fix it ?. - if your console is turning off because of this warm weather get it booked in for a deep clean !.

Possibly the worst made gaming laptop ever made ?, more gaming laptops, more wasting of time. I try and avoid gaming laptops like the plague, as when you combine poor cooling, with poor airflow and performance not suitable for a laptop you get the utter clusterfcuk that is a gaming laptop. 99.99999% of the time you’ll be wasting your time even opening it up as it’s pretty much always either the gpu, the ram or the cpu that has failed, and true to form, my diagnosis was correct before I even opened it up.

This ps5 was sent to me by a customer from London who saw my videos online and wanted to see if I could fix their ps5 which other shops in London seemed not to be able to fix. Can I fix what shops cannot ?…… stay tuned !.

This laptop was dropped in by a business we work with. Their customer had made a right mess of the charge port and it had shorted out and melted the port and shorted it out so that it de activated the battery. After lots of fun and games we had it back in action once again!.

This solar Iboost+ was sent in by a customer for repair. I think they had fallen into the eBay parts trap though, as the IGBT they was fitted isn’t even manufactured any more and has been discontinued for several years now.
This explains why it was internally shorted as it’s likely totally fake and is just a wire inside instead of having the usual internals.
They had also been a bit creative with the soldering iron too and somehow managed to solder a load of capacitor casings too while they were at it.
Luckily I was able to to fix it all for them and it’s now fully tested and fully working once again !.

This ps5 was dropped in as it was overheating, to say it was dusty inside would be the understatement of the year !, it looks like someone had just pulled it out of a dusty attack after a decade in storage !. Now looking and operating more like brand new !. Ready for the second incoming heatwave next week !. Don’t let overheating interrupt your gaming, get it booked in now !.

This Xbox series x was dropped in by a customer with damaged hdmi port. I get also opted for a deep clean too while I was in there as it was really filthy inside. It’s now had new hdmi port fitted as well as new thermal case and the inside of the console deep cleaned so now looks like new inside !.

PS5 number two of day the day overheating, this one wasn’t too mucky inside, but the Liquid Metal had made a rather large dry spot on the cpu so this causes the console to overheat and turn off. Once a full strip down and clean + Liquid Metal re application was done it’ll now be running normally again.
