No tricks, just treats hereπ» Halloween is fast approaching and it's one of the biggest visual opportunities of the year; there are so many ways to get involved both in store and online.
Here's just a few ideas:
π Best Dressed Pumpkin: Invite local schools or children to decorate a pumpkin and bring it into the shop. Display them in the window and let customers / followers vote for their favourite.
π¬ Trick or Treat: Place a basket of small pumpkins or other Halloween-themed accessories by the till, each marked on the bottom with a surprise offer, e.g. 10% off today's purchase, Β£5 off a Christmas pre-order, a free box of chocolates. Customers who make a purchase get to choose one and reveal a prize. Throw in some sneaky 'tricks' to up the stakes! They've still got to be light-hearted and fun though - think 'cackle like a witch' or 'do your best ghost impression'. They can pick again if they let you film it and post it on socials.
π§ββοΈ Get the team involved: Host a staff pumpkin carving challenge, share photos or reels of the team dressed up, or have your delivery driver do their rounds in their spookiest costume. Make sure you share everything on your social channels. People love to see your personality!
πͺ Window reveal: Create a transition video showing your window display transforming from autumn into full Halloween mode. Make sure you include trending Halloween audio, close-ups of details, and team decorating footage.
π» Show off your skills: Post pictures of your themed bouquets, frightening Finishing Touches, Halloween wreaths, pumpkin arrangements, and dramatic autumn colour palettes.
π§Run a competition: Create a spooky arrangement and ask followers to come up with a fitting name. Winner gets the bouquet! You could also make it a team vote and film yourselves choosing the winner.
