• What's your role at Denmaur?
Commercial Manager (Cartonboard) – To support the whole of the business with development of Cartonboard sales.

• What's the best piece of advice you've received during your career?
When you're interacting with anyone, be it supplier, customer or colleague always bear in mind that one day you might be trying to sell to them, working with them or be an interviewee of theirs in the future.

• What's your favourite Denmaur product or service?

We find solutions by listening to and understanding our customer's requirements rather than offering what we think they might need. We are a people business.

• What's one thing you wish more people knew about paper, board or print?
Paper and board products are sustainable and renewable, they have a thousand uses to protect, promote, market, advertise and entertain (to name but a few).

• What's your favourite piece of print that you've ever seen or owned?
An original pressing of The White Album, whilst only a small amount of embossing on the cover, some fantastic litho inserts inside.

• So, you like your music, what is the best album cover(s) that you either own or have seen?
Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd. The design by Hipgnosis is stunningly simple.

• What's the best concert that you've ever been to?
There are probably too many to choose but Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young in Chicago in 2000 was great as was Ty Segall's acoustic afternoon set in Manchester a couple of weeks ago.

• If you were in a position to make a substantial donation, which charity would it support?
Any that supports research and/or care for dementia or cancer.

• Thanks Ben, one last question. Your final meal—what's on the menu?
A medium rare rib eye steak, roast peppers and garlic with English mustard.
