Website Redesign for Beer Village

I’ve recently completed a new WordPress website for Beer Village in East Devon.

The old site had built up a large amount of useful content over time, but visitors and residents often had to work hard to find what they needed. The new structure gives each audience a clearer route through the site.

The project included a local business directory, clubs and associations, village news, parish documents, events, walking routes, visitor information and a dedicated section for Mariners’ Hall.

It was a sizeable community website with plenty of moving parts, so much of the work focused on organising the content, reducing duplication and making future updates manageable for the people running it.

*Can you just set that up for me?*

Most small business owners are told their new website is "SEO optimised." But very few are told what that actually means.
It usually means the basics are in place. Which is a good start. But it is not the whole picture.
There is a big difference between a site that is built correctly for search and a site that actively ranks. I wrote a post explaining exactly where that line is, so you know what to expect from your web designer and what you need to invest in separately.
