Statement about Corona virus (Covid-19)
During the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Corona virus and its likely impact on individuals and businesses, Shropshire ITC are taking steps to ensure that we comply with all government advice and we place the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers at the heart of what we do.
Currently we have no cause for concern with any of our staff, but we are constantly reviewing our processes and procedures to ensure that, should there be a need for any of our staff to self-isolate, we are able to continue to provide the highest levels of support to our customers. We are also in regular communication with our suppliers to ensure that all services and stock levels are maintained.
Shropshire ITC are also in discussion with our customers to assure them that, if there is a need for their staff to work from home, there are a range of products and services available to them to ensure that they can work effectively.
We have been made aware that, locally, there are a number of companies who are concerned about stock levels of any hardware that they may need to purchase for staff (laptops, tablets etc) and that these shortages, along with connectivity issues are causing businesses concern in terms of productivity.
Whilst no one can know what will happen next, or indeed what the government advice will be from one day to the next, we are focused on ensuring that businesses in the region can continue to trade during this difficult time.
Should you have any questions about remote working, or indeed any concerns about your IT infrastructure then please feel free to contact us on [email protected] and we will be happy to offer free and impartial advice to assist you to navigate through this difficult time.
