Hi All,
With Double Data Rate 5 (DDR5), Random Access Memory (RAM) starting to appear in workstations, gaming devices and other machines, we though we would share some knowledge on the new line of RAM.
As with most new flavours of hardware performance is normally something you will see an improvement in and DDR5 sees plenty of this, DDR4 (The version of RAM before DDR5) includes 50% more bandwidth and lower voltage requirements. But also with DDR4 you could only get 2 Gigabyte (GB) to 16 GB per stick of RAM, Now with DDR5 you can get 8GB to 64GB.
This is massively helpful if you are limited on RAM slots on your motherboard, for example if you only have 2 slots for RAM previously with DDR4 you could get a max of 32GB. Now with DDR5 you can get a maximum of 128GB! Now this is assuming that Motherboards or “Mobo” will support this.
For more information about upgrading to DDR5 Please feel free to give us a message.
