Wessex Computers Limited are looking for a new Apprentice to join our experienced and friendly team. This position includes a monthly salary, company pension, and a level 3 qualification of 'Information Communication Technician’.

The role will require an understanding of troubleshooting for Windows and devices such as printers and routers, as well as hardware repairs for both laptops and desktops.

As many will know, Microsoft has announced that Windows 7 will no longer be supported from the 14th January 2020. After that time the operating system will not be patched, meaning you are more likely to be vulnerable to cyber-attacks and scams.

There was a sharp drop in active Windows 7 PCs in July indicating that users are finally starting to migrate to Windows 10. If you would like us to help you with this process, then please give us a call of 01935 429999. We have a range of both new and refurbished computer options available and we can help you with the transfer.

You might want to think twice about which route to take into Yeovil today, heavy traffic on Babylon Hill this morning. We are however still easily accessible when coming from the Sherborne direction as the right hand lane isn't impacted.

TRAFFIC!!! Please note if you are looking to visit us today that road works outside the Penn Mill Hotel are causing traffic issues again. Babylon Hill is backed up as are the roads leading out of Yeovil. We understand this is the last set of ‘completion’ work on that section of road which is good but it will last for the next 2 weeks. Ring us before setting off, it may be easier for us to come to you or for us to solve any pc problems via remote support instead.

We are temporarily halting our Saturday morning opening, please accept our apologies. As you have probably noticed the new roadworks have caused some problems around our area with long wait times for many drivers. As a result of this we have understandably had many clients not wishing to drive to us on a Saturday morning, often the busiest time on that road. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
