We've posted a couple of high quality sub-woofers for sale recently and it got me wondering how many people have used or use sub-woofers in their hifi systems. Is to to augment compact speakers or do they do more?

Not really referring to home cinema and all the crash, bang, wallop involved there. More for their use with music and the subtlety and control that requires. Let me know your thoughts....

Really suprised this Linn Klimax 345 sub has been here so long! For anyone with a Linn system with the exakt links like the Klimax or Selekt DSM’s etc this sub really is the dogs danglies. Connect it out of your DSM into the Linn Extactbox Sub, tell it what speakers you have and let the digital crossover do the rest! Very hard to find now and this one has had a recent replacement amp module by Linn so is in tip top condition. If I had a pair of small Linn speakers like the 119’s etc I know what I’d be buying!

It's good to talk.

Social media is fine but it is easy to write a comment and it get ignored. Because of algorithms and the like. Often we don't pick up on comments because the platform does not inform us.

Our staff are of a generation that likes to talk. If there's anything you need or need to know you can contact us however you like. But we are happy to chat and we prefer this sometimes because our customers requirements are often not straightforward. It's also nice to have a human touch.
