So this post by the Greystones pub about the latest seasonal b**r from Thornbridge Brewery was always going to catch our attention -

- and a Major Quibble!

Autumnity has made it's way onto the bar! Thornbridge Brewery Year Of B**r series continues.

This one's an ambery, coppery colour, full bodied, warming and reminiscent of Sequoia 🤤 we've got plenty of it so come try it this October!

Complete one off original graphic design, for four custom privacy screens (full colour print on 3M etch effect) with matching wall coverings - created for the University of West London University of West London.
Given full creative freedom - and a very short deadline - the design involved the deconstruction of the University’s logo and the colour palette from a 12 metre long landscape graphic wallpaper we produced at the same time.

❤️🫖 Not every day is a good day and TODAY was absolutely 💩 🙈

£7:80 is what we took in the shop today! One customer ( to whom I'm extremely grateful 🙏

The sun may have been shining outside, but it certainly wasn't shining on Cup & Saucer 🙃.

The reality of being a small business owner in 2026! 😆

Hopefully it will be business as normal and back on track tomorrow.

Two and a half months is a big chunk of year, in business it’s also the biggest chunk without lots of people taking holidays.

Yet every year people either panic, because “the end of the year is coming” or “it’s going to be Christmas before you know it”.

Maybe that’s just a perspective we should help clients conjure up at the start of every quarter.

Even more so when times are tough for everyone.

Still - here’s October Eve once again - time to finish the year with a bang! Time to get inspired:

“There is a tide in the affairs of men. Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;

Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries.

“A brand is more than a Logo.”
True.
But a Brand isn’t a Brand without a Logo!
The best logos don’t just identify a business.
Over time, they become something people recognise almost instantly — sometimes from a colour, a shape, or just a fraction of the mark.
And yet, with everyone using the same fonts, tools and visual conventions, it’s getting harder to demand that retention - that hook sunk into the memory
So the question isn’t:
“Does our logo look good?”
It’s:
“Will people remember it?”
That’s what we explore in Chapter 12: “Logo On”.
