🏆 WORLD CUP SWEEPSTAKE – WEEK 1 UPDATE 🌍⚽

The opening week of the World Cup has given us plenty to talk about in the One2Call Sweepstake!

😳 Brandon's Cape Verde side pulled off one of the surprises of the tournament so far, holding Alex's Spain to a 0-0 draw and earning a valuable point.

🤔 Meanwhile, Owen had the unique experience of celebrating and commiserating at the same time as Norway comfortably beat Iraq 4-1... with both teams belonging to him!

😎 At the other end of the scale, Dave's Germany showed no mercy as they hammered Steve's Curaçao 7-1 but the good news for Steve is that he's in pole position for our coveted "Worst Team of the Tournament" award.

With plenty of matches still to come, there's still everything to play for as the race for sweepstake glory begins to heat up.

We recently announced that One2Call has successfully retained both our ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications.

Last night, members of the One2Call team, Nick and Owen, were invited to attend an exclusive business briefing hosted by Sheffield Wednesday as 'Gold Partner' sponsor.

It was a fascinating insight into the club's future plans, with updates on player recruitment, the appointment of new Sporting Director Simon Wilson, upcoming matchday improvements, a new kit sponsor, and the introduction of club legend David Hirst as a club ambassador.

Thank you to Sheffield Wednesday for hosting a fantastic event. We're looking forward to seeing the club's plans develop both on and off the pitch over the coming months.
