Today is SysAdmin Day, and I wanted to take a moment to say something genuine: the reliability your business depends on does not happen by accident.
Behind every quiet week, every backup that restores cleanly, every security patch applied before it becomes a problem, there is a system administrator doing careful, largely invisible work. When nothing goes wrong, that is usually the point.
We celebrated today with cake and a proper thank you to our team. They handle the early starts, the late finishes, the competing urgent tickets and the steady background work that keeps our customers' systems running. It is skilled, demanding and genuinely important work.
