🌑📱 CAN TONIGHT’S SOLAR ECLIPSE DAMAGE YOUR PHONE CAMERA?! 📱🌑

Thinking of pointing your phone straight at the Sun tonight to get that perfect eclipse photo? 👀☀️

While taking a quick photo is unlikely to instantly destroy your camera, direct sunlight can potentially damage a camera sensor, especially when using heavy zoom or filming the Sun for an extended period.

⚠️ So be careful!
❌ Don’t film the Sun for extended periods
❌ Avoid holding heavy zoom directly on the Sun
❌ Never use binoculars or a telescope to magnify the Sun into your phone camera without a proper solar filter

📸 If you do notice your camera behaving strangely afterwards, such as bright spots, lines, strange colours, focusing issues or a camera that won’t work, don’t panic!

🔧 We can repair camera damage on many phones, including replacing damaged camera modules and lenses.

So get your eclipse photos… but maybe don’t sacrifice your camera for the perfect shot! 😂🌑

This iPhone 16 Plus in Pink arrived with a smashed rear glass that had caused the battery to swell. Definitely one repair you don’t want to leave until extra time! 😅

The customer opted for a Grade A pulled rear glass to keep that original Apple finish, along with a brand new aftermarket battery. Safe, secure, and looking like new again! 💖✨
