Too hot for glue! As you've no doubt heard (via actual UK Government live klaxon phone alerts if you're in the UK) we're having quite a heat wave!** I tried to do some monster collage this week, and the glue dried to fast! But as an evil dungeon master artist I couldn't be put off that easily. So instead I drew some silly skeletons. Not for Professor Stephenmug but at least you can see I'm keeping busy

** The last time summers were regularly this temperature in Yorkshire, it had some famous hyenas using a cave where they left bones from their food - including hippos and bison. The Kirkdale Cave remains are dated to the last ice age 125,000 years ago. (see, I did hint above that I'm a geology nerd)

Occulosa Lilium is at 150% funding whooo! The nice thing about a tiny campaign is the goals are nice and satisfying :D

Now you may wonder, why a £20 campaign? Why so small? Monsters help cover the studio rent in a fun way that works nicely alongside my game graphic design, my 'Noodles & Bones' illustrations, and my fine art practice (geologically inspired abstract paintings, if you're curious - particularly the sedimentary record of the Yorkshire coast). I'm super lucky that I share with a couple other equally weird creatives and we have a run-down council property that they don't yet want to kick us out of, so it's very affordable.

Besides, it's only fair that the monsters in my head earn their keep. Monsters help pay their own rent and I get to frankenstein little crazy things in order to have space to make bigger crazy things!

It's always a good time for an eyeball on a stalk! Professor Stephenmug has crossed some leftover eyeballs (don't ask what goes on in the lab) with some of Igor's garden lilies to create lookouts for the tower. What could go wrong?
