On the Blog: AI takes center stage at this year’s European Omnis Developer Conference.

The countdown is on to the 25th Euromnis Conference held in Arnhem, Netherlands from October 4th to 9th, 2026. It is around 8 weeks away... and you still have time to register: www.omnisworld.co.uk

🏆 We have a winner of the 1st edition of the Omnis Challenge from Softpi! 🎉

After several weeks of learning, development and a lot of code, we have the winning application of the Omnis Challenge 2026.

👏 Congratulations to Rafael García Casilla from Dominica Republic for his excellent work!

His project 'EcoAtlas' stood out for combining a solid technical implementation with a great user experience, developing a species geolocation application that integrates a SQLite database, interactive maps, data import from CSV and a modern and intuitive interface.

During the final session, Rafael shared how he developed his application and Francisco Ramos of Softpi Ibérica analyzed the project, highlighting the technical decisions, differential aspects and opportunities for improvement.

Softpi would like to thank all the participants who accepted the challenge and dedicated their time to continue learning and developing with Omnis Studio.

This has been the first edition of the challenge and Softpi hopes that it will be the first of many. See you in the next challenge! 🚀
