75 years of local experience, with a new digital home.

We recently had the pleasure of designing and developing a new website for Arthur Wheeler Estate Agents, one of the Isle of Wight’s longest-established independent estate agencies.

The challenge was to take a business with decades of history, local knowledge and reputation and give it a modern online presence without losing the personal approach that has been at the heart of Arthur Wheeler since 1950.

The new website puts property discovery front and centre, with dedicated areas for buying, selling, lettings and commercial property, alongside a much cleaner and more intuitive experience across desktop and mobile.

It’s a great example of how good web development isn’t about changing a business. It’s about understanding what already makes that business successful and creating a digital experience that reflects it.

We are really proud of how our new space has turned out. We wanted to create somewhere that felt a little different, surrounded by nature where our team can work, collaborate, meet clients, grab a coffee outside and hopefully come up with some pretty good ideas along the way.

Brightbulb has changed a lot over the years and we’re continuing to evolve. We’re doing more complex development, building apps and digital platforms, exploring how AI can transform businesses, while continuing to produce the creative and design work that has always been at the heart of what we do.

This feels like the right space for that next chapter.

We recently worked on the development of the new Dog Owners Guide website, creating a platform designed to make finding dog-friendly places across the UK simple. 🐾

And there’s plenty going on behind the scenes.

With more than 33,000 dog-friendly eateries, stays and adventures, the platform allows users to search destinations, discover curated collections, find everything from beaches and attractions to places to eat and stay, and even contribute their own recommendations.

For us, projects like this are a great example of where design and technology come together. It’s not just about creating a website that looks good. It’s about structuring large amounts of information, making it genuinely easy to explore and building something that can continue to grow with the business.

Surrounded by the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside, it's another small improvement that's helping to create a welcoming experience from the moment you arrive at our office. We don't think there are many office car parks set amongst such beautiful surroundings! 🌳💡

It’s always good to get out from behind the screens and get hands-on with a client’s brand.

We recently directed a new photoshoot for the team at Heatstar Ltd as part of a wider overhaul of their marketing and digital assets.

The aim was to build a stronger bank of original photography that feels authentic to Heatstar, showcases the people behind the business and gives us much better creative to work with across their website and wider marketing.

A great day with the Heatstar team and another important piece of the wider project coming together.

Looking forward to sharing more of what we’ve been working on soon.

A fresh new look for Shanklin Seafront!

We’re really pleased to launch the newly updated Shanklin Seafront website, giving one of the Isle of Wight’s best-known seaside destinations a fresh, modern online presence.

The new site brings together everything visitors need to plan a day on the seafront, from attractions and activities to places to eat, things to do and all the information they need before they arrive.

With such a colourful, vibrant destination, we wanted the website to capture some of that energy while making it quick and easy for visitors to explore what’s on offer.

Another great local project for the Brightbulb team and one we’ve really enjoyed working on.
