π«£ COMFORT ZONE π«£
Painting with watercolours is not something I'd class as being comfortable with, but non the less, for some reason I had the urge to give it a whirl this week. I was given some lovely flowers and they seemed like great inspiration.
I started with a rough sketch, which I didn't erase enough in places before I started painting π It wasn't my intention to include all of the flowers, just a select few and capture the vase.
Out came the watercolour palette, a random selection of brushes and I did also borrow Littlie's metallic watercolours for the gold lines on the vase.
The final result... It could be worse π But the most important thing is that I challenged myself, I tried and I enjoyed the process. It doesn't matter that the end result is far from perfect.
I thought afterwards about how there is so much I could learn about blending, too much/little water and technique to improve. Maybe I'll learn more about it one day, but there's nothing to stop me just having fun!
