Business Development Executive
To lead the business development of 4E, joining at an exciting growth phase. You’ll be ambitious and ready to make your mark in this innovative business. Your mission is to find and secure contracts that will fuel the continued growth of 4E. This role is ideally suited to an individual with the drive and autonomy to be a real figurehead within this cutting-edge business.
Responsibilities:
• Devise & implement Business Growth Strategies.
• Build & nurture client relationships.
• Prospect, identify and generate new opportunities.
• Meet potential clients & attend networking events to build industry connections and foster new relationships.
• Research, develop and nurture relationships with clients.
• Development of business from existing and new clients.
• Preparing proposals, contracts, and other sales documents.
• Ownership of commercial aspects of all contracts.
• Continuous use of CRM.
• Delivery of agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales Targets/forecasts.
• To make sure client feedback / satisfaction / complaints are captured and processed through the correct Quality measures.
• To oversee Marketing / lead generation activity - Ensure a strong, regular presence on social media channels.
• Any other tasks reasonably requested by management.
Skills & Abilities:
Essential
• High EQ & an exceptional communicator both verbal and written.
• Experience working in contract electronics manufacturing and an understanding of the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Good grounding in commercial contracts.
• Business development experience in a technical B2B environment. (5+ years in business development, sales, customer facing roles)
• Self-starter that takes responsibility for accomplishing individual and team goals.
• Strategic thinker
• Strong negotiation skills
• Collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages within the pipeline.
• Keen to constantly learn and improve own skills.
• B2B Marketing experience
• Familiar with CRM systems
• Understanding of contract and commercial law.
• Detail focused and high standards reflective of an ISO 13485 quality system.
Preferential
• Passionate about emerging tech and sustainability
• Business/ commercial degree
Hours and Pay range:
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: Up to £35k depending on skills and experience, Plus performance related bonus
• Onsite parking.
• Holiday – 4 weeks to start, 1 additional day per year of service to 25days, plus bank holidays
• Hours Mon – Fri 8:30 – 17:00
• Office based (Alderbury) + travel.
