An age-old issue. How to get car parts to fire up and test away from the car when you don't have an expensive bench PSU?
Use an old pc power supply and modify it to suit. Not all, but most psu wiring is the same, they all output 12v, 5v, and 3.3v. (check your PSU model number and pinouts online for colors) I honestly use this one for everything, from testing pc and car parts to voltage injection on dead motherboards and giving the 5v a lick when I'm bored!
This one I've used doesn't have enough power to drive the subwoofer itself, unfortunately. But at least I know the amp is good to go. 😁
