❤️ A few of my favourite spots when I’m away from the studio!

I’m a big fan of working on the move, and we’re lucky to have some fantastic independent venues here on the Island that make it easy to mix business with a change of scenery. ☕️

Here are a few of my favourites…

🐾 Sarakasi Coffee – For their bespoke coffee blend, sensational scones, warm service and, of course, their resident dog!

☀️ Seaview Hotel - Restaurant and Bar - For its sunny terrace, traditional pump bar and innovative menu.

🍰 Department – For its rooftop terrace, interesting soft drink selection and delicious cakes.

☕️ Zen Cafe Ryde – For its iced coffee, irresistible cakes and always-warm welcome.

Working locally doesn’t mean staying in one place. A change of scenery is a great way to support fellow Island businesses! 😊

🚂⚡ ALL ABOARD! EXCITING TIMES AHEAD FOR RYDE! ⚡🚂

I had a fantastic time on Friday catching up with Rob at The Star Coffee & Ale House and hearing more about his exciting Ryde On Tyme.

The vision?

An electric land train connecting Ryde Esplanade, the town centre and local attractions, making it easier for residents and visitors alike to explore our wonderful town! 🚂

💚 A fun, environmentally friendly way to get around!

It’s great to see such enthusiasm and innovation being put into making Ryde an even better place to live, visit and explore!

Steephill Cove 🌊 🎣

I love that the cove has operated as a working fishing hub for centuries.

The Blakes & Wheelers have fished the waters for generations…
… catching the famous Ventnor Bay crab and lobster. 🦞

The cove remains entirely car-free preserving its historic look with…
…original fisherman’s cottages, beach huts, and lobster pots.

We are busy planing annual motorcycle adventure 🏍️

I love nothing more than adventuring on my bike, the feeling of freedom is immense.

Annual leave on a bike is simply liberating with the open road lying ahead of you, destination sometimes unknown! 😉

The Isle of Wight Cheese Company’s aim was to create a variety of small scale handmade cheeses for the island. 🧀

Made with love & care at the Queen Bower Dairy they have been winning awards since 2017.

They collect all of their milk twice a week from their friends Paul and Mary Bradley who keep their Holstein Friesian herd at Crocker’s Farm, Newport. 🐄 ❤️

There range is simply delicious!

I met with Lowel Tucker my New Business Development Manager for a ☕️ and training session on Monday 😊

It’s was great to see how well she is getting on and to share with her the work that that I have done with many Island businesses over the years. 💻

I tend to work solo in my Studio so it’s especially nice to get outside and have a face to face catch up.

Whilst remote working is super productive we still get some much out of connecting in person. What do you think?
