We have a number of events and training courses taking place in Q4 2026 as follows:

"Digital Heat" 15th October - This event has been developed due to a large number of Linked In Posts talking about the potential for reusing the heat from Data Centres, mostly by non-data centre people. The intention is to explain why this is easily said than done, so we'll be hearing from John Booth MD of Carbon3IT Ltd as to the current barriers to adoption, then followed up by a speaker from DESNZ to explain how they are amending the current rules and regulations to make it easier, this will be followed by companies who are working on operational, in progress and planned data centre heat reuse projects.
The event is open to all, and especially if you're a local authority who is considering implementing local heat plans and could potentially use data centre heat as a heat source.

There is a well known "learning pyramid" whose origins are shrouded in mystery, and sometimes referred to as the "cone of learning" it states that a "learner" will retain 5% via a lecture, 10% via reading, 20% via audio/visual, 30% via demonstration, 50% in a discussion group, 75% via doing, and 90% by teaching others.

Sometimes you need to be inside a data centre to understand it, and you won't get that online or in a classroom, the National Data Centre Academy has its own mini server room where delegates improve the room using the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres (Energy Efficiency) best practices, and our other technical training suite covering power, D2C and Immersed Compute is in detailed planning.
Our courses are checked prior to every delivery to ensure that delegates get the latest and most up to date information on standards, legislation and technologies.
