A very important question for you all – do you back up your data? You don’t know how much your data is worth until you lose it and it’s too late! Have you thought about what would happen to your business if your hard drive or your computer fails?

Whether you are running a business by yourself or you are an established business with a server you should be backing up your data daily, at least. If you have a server, we recommend investing in a tape back-up unit to protect your business. If you are running your business from an individual computer, you should back everything up onto an external hard drive using Windows Backup.

It is always better to be safe than sorry!

Microsoft UK have announced European-wide price increases on corporate licence products effective from 1st July 2012. We understand that this increase may be up to 20%. The explanation for this is attributed to ‘sustained currency differences’ across the EU. The exact extent of any price changes in July will therefore be determined by the Sterling/Euro exchange rate.
