Thank you On Sound for their recent review of the NEW Drawmer 500 series FET and OPTO compressors!

' It's great to see a British company designing and building original high-quality audio hardware for no-nonsense prices. That the OC1 and FC1 are so versatile and configurable, and deliver the goods in terms of both technical specs and sonics, is better still. What it boils down to is...classic Drawmer, which is most definitely a good thing! Well worth checking out '

Drawmer 1973 FET Compressor

'This is an incredibly versatile compressor. We have tried many plugins for our hardware/ soft synthesizer bus to round the unpleasant peaks but most of the time densely layered synth arrangements sounded thinner with emulation multiband compressors. Drawmer 1973 not only bring the synths up front but also multiband tweaking created so much space for the vocals and drums that the whole program material sounds louder and cleaner. The great magic comes with big and air switches creates that beautiful high and low saturation, or whatever term you want to use, is seriously magic'
