We were at this week and it's HUGE! TAPOS is the big PoS designed for independent cinemas of all sizes, from a single screen to dozens of locations. And some of our customers have (FECs) attached to them, providing entire entertainment facilities that combine cinemas with everything from soft play, to go karts, laser tag and bowling!

It amazes us how much of the software that is written for FECs is then useful to mainstream cinemas. We love the way that all our independent cinema customers around the world invest in Tapos, and the way that a feature written for a customer in Lagos or London might be used afew days later by a customer in Australia or Canada. Undeniably our favourite retail movie magazine, Little White Lies should be in every cinema’s list of magazine subscriptions. The passion and knowledge in every issue makes anyone want to watch more movies than they did before picking up the magazine (which in itself makes me wonder if it should be sold AT cinemas, anyone?). Its easy cross-referencing to an incredible knowledge of other movies, always done with a feeling of inclusivity, like chatting with a mate at the pub rather than being spoken to by a haughty scholar forms an instant connection between the author and the reader.

And from covering The Venice Film Festival to brilliant interviews not only with actors (Barry Keoghan was in this one), and directors but also other key people involved in the film making process it’s impossible not to read everything in it.
