I've been a little quiet on my own socials lately, and this is pretty much why....

Behind the scenes at EJ Social, things have been BUSY.

I've been working on social media for a specialist UK-wide business, email marketing for property experts, Summer content for some brilliant small businesses and collaborating on social media for an Oxford-based business.

And right now, I'm getting stuck into the socials for a brand-new Southampton business, building on the amazing start she's already made and taking some of that content pressure off her plate. ✨

The variety is honestly one of my favourite parts:
Different businesses.
Different audiences.
Different goals.
and I get to work out what marketing looks like for each of them!

Has running my own business been hard work? Absolutely.

Am I still figuring out how to do the client work AND remember to market myself? Also absolutely. 😂

But a few months in, I can safely say it's one of the best decisions I've made.
Very busy. Very grateful. And loving it. 🤍

Messages like this 🥹🤍

One of my clients dropped me a message after seeing how one of their recent posts was performing:

“It’s got through to some big people in our industry, getting our name out there a lot more!”

THIS is what I mean when I talk about content having a purpose.

It's not just about keeping your feed looking active or posting because you feel like you should.

It's about getting your business seen by the right people, building recognition and creating opportunities to stay front of mind.

And when you get a message like this completely out of the blue… it feels pretty good. 🤍

One thing I love about running EJ Social is that no two weeks look the same...

This week I'm stepping away from social media and into email marketing for a new client.

I think people often assume EJ Social is just social media, but it's always been about marketing as a whole.

Whilst every business is different, the fundamentals of good marketing remain the same. Social media, email marketing and customer journeys all work towards the same goal: building relationships with the right people.

I genuinely love getting to work with such a variety of businesses and projects. No two weeks are ever the same... and I wouldn't have it any other way!
