With a heavy heart, we regret to inform you all that we have made the difficult decision to close 3D FilaPrint.
As a business, we have faced many challenges over the past few years:
Brexit causing substantially increased import costs from Europe and Asia and the USA.
Various challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ukraine/Russia war and its economic impact in the UK.
Larger international manufacturers/resellers out-pricing us, sometimes at or below cost.
Suppliers selling materials directly in the UK
The proposed threat of Amazon operating a TEMU style platform and new UK TEMU Warehousing.
A combination of these factors have left us unable to continue as a viable business.
Everyone here at 3D FilaPrint is immensely proud of what we and our customers have achieved over the years. We have had the privilege of witnessing incredible projects and innovations made possible by the creativity and dedication of our customers. Your passion and ingenuity have been a constant source of inspiration for us.
We have seen our materials transform into amazing prototypes, models, and essential components, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in 3D printing. It has been an honour to support your projects.
As we close this chapter, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all of you. Your loyalty and support have meant the world to us, and we are incredibly proud to have been a part of your journey. While we may be closing our doors, the spirit of innovation and community that we've built together will continue to thrive.
