Tuesday tip if you're buying a phone off Marketplace 🔎 Before any cash changes hands, type * #06 # into the dialler to bring up the IMEI, and make sure the seller has properly signed out of their iCloud or Google account. A blocked or locked handset is an expensive paperweight, and it isn't something anyone can undo afterwards. Not sure what you're looking at? The best time to back up your phone is before anything goes wrong ☁️📱 Two minutes in your settings today means a cracked screen or a dead battery never costs you your photos.

iPhone: Settings > your name > iCloud > iCloud Backup. Android: Settings > Google > Backup. Switch it on and forget about it.

Written off after a swim, back in a pocket by teatime 🔧✨ Water damage isn't the end. This one came in completely dead — stripped down, cleaned, dried properly and rebuilt on the bench. Powered up the same day with every photo still on it.
