Today we had an iPhone 13 brought in that was in much need of a battery replacement. The battery would not hold a charge unless it was plugged in and the display has started to flex outside of the iPhone housing.
What we accomplished today ~
•New genuine battery replacement ✅
•Assessed and repaired the screen flex ✅
•Ensured the repair was completed same day in an hour or less ✅
•Battery is now holding a charge and ensured customer satisfaction ✅
This was mainly due to overuse while the phone was charging, this can cause the battery to expand and push the screen out of the frame, causing the cells to be unable to hold a charge. Take this as a sign not to leave your phone while on charge and stop doomscrolling people!
