We offer a repair and full service solution for the Technics SL1200 and SL1210. We can carry out a ful

l service which includes: replacing the pitch control, replacing the phono lead, replacing the earth lead. Cleaning the exterior and the motor stator and platter. Lubricating bearings, tone arm assembly, motor stator, calibrate the tone arm, pitch zero point, pitch scale, anti skate and tracking. Full service fixed price of £125. We can arrange shipping including sending you a box and packaging, £165. SL1210 Repairs

We also offer fixed price repairs for pitch control and arm replacement or any other issues. Repairs are £95 plus parts. If you just want a part only repair then please contact us for a quote. We are open Monday to Friday 8.30 to 4.00 We carry many common spare parts.

We can supply packaging for your 1210, All custom sized to fit perfectly. £15 delivered. A sheet of poly wrap goes round the deck first to prevent it rubbing on the polystyrene. Then we can ship with a fragile courier service at £17.50 each way

Somebody decided to replace the mains cable on this 1210. The cable is big enough to run a 3 bar electric fire. Hence they couldnt get it in the cable clamp so just clamped the fex between the metal work. Bit risky. new clamp and cable, good as new. www.sl1210.co.uk

Here's a flight case that a 1210 arrived in today. No foam in the lid and 5mm in the bottom. Needless to say it rattles around inside.
I've pointed out to customers countless times, the highest point on the deck is the arm bearing. Knock that and it's a new arm, very expensive.
Not to mention the platter could come off and wreck the cartridge or arm

SL1200 Ltd, spent 10 years in a garage. Take a look at the corrosion that builds up when left in a damp environment. Arm height was seized solid, pitch hardly moveable.
Luckily a full service and clean up brought it back to life with only a few marks showing through the gold.
