Microsoft are stopping support for Windows 10 on October 14th 2025 which means your laptop & computer will no longer be supported or receive security updates.
Not all computers are compatible with the Windows 11 upgrade but there are several options available to extend the period of support.

Microsoft 365 Business Email Outage.

Microsoft 365’s Business Hosted Exchange service are experiencing a significant global outage, disrupting email access for millions of users.
The issue began over the weekend, with nearly 9,000 reports globaly.
Services impacted include Outlook, Teams, Exchange, and the Microsoft Store.
Microsoft have identified a potential cause which was an Azure configuration change and reverted the suspected code & services are slowly recovering.
Although emails are still being delivered & sending out ok, users will still be experiencing some errors & service issues until the problem is fully resolved.

Anybody that is having mobile phone reception / signal problems in Verwood & surrounding areas, this is due to system & mast upgrades, switching off the 3G network & enabling / improving the 4G & 5G networks.
It looks to be affecting the service for the next 10 days.

BT Business POP Email Service Will Cease 10/05/2023.

What does this mean?

BT Business are shutting down their POP Email Service for BT Business email accounts.

So if you have an .com email address this will only be accessible via webmail moving forward & email clients like Outlook will no longer work.

Historical email can be backed up & made available offline but this needs to be done before 10/05/2023 to secure the data.

Introducing Windows 11:

Windows 11 is the new operating system from Microsoft & the replacement for Windows 10 & is now being shipped with new computers & laptops & offered as a free upgrade to compatible devices.
The new Windows 11 user interface and Start menu look remarkably similar to what was offered in Windows 10.
Visually, the biggest changes you will notice can be found along the taskbar.
Microsoft has centered the app icons here, cleaned up the tray area, and included a new Start button and menu.
If you do not want the app icons and Start menu centered, there’s an option to move them all back to the left-hand side.
Coupled with the dark mode that’s also available, and Windows 11 starts to look like a more refined version of Windows 10 than something dramatically new.

We offer a full upgrade service to your existing compatible devices & in some cases keeping all your files & software, but where it is necessary to perform a clean installation of Windows 11 all your data will be backed up & transferred.
