✅ Check the cable, and bin it if the wires are frayed or exposed.
✅ If it's too hot to touch, unplug it, because something's wrong.
✅ Don't charge under pillows. Use a hard, open surface.

• The cable feels loose or wobbly
• It only charges at a certain angle
• A computer won't detect it

The good news is it often just needs a proper clean rather than a new part. We check it, clean it safely and only replace the port if it really needs it.
