I almost can’t believe that Dolly Parton has left the stage, she was an amazing role model and I wish more billionaires had an ounce of her philanthropic compassion. What a poorer world we are in this morning.
Dolly is on my personal playlist of life music. Coat of Many Colours, especially, always makes me weep, every time I listen to it. The words just cut right through to my soul and have so much depth of meaning.
A few years ago my mum cut out all of these squares of my fabric designs, and one day a quilt will be made from them. (At the moment they are all in a box somewhere in the depths of the attic!) I feel like I need to find the squares and start that quilt.
